Papa George is one of Britain's leading live blues guitarists and vocalists. He is also a great songwriter. Using a combination of electric, reso-electric and National Steel guitars, Papa George has created a powerful and emotional style, Blues with a Feelin'.

His solo acoustic album (National Steel and Vocals), "Being Free…ain't no crime", is a fine example of how one man and a guitar can communicate so much in so many different ways. "Runaway Boogie", a track from the CD was issued on the "Blueprint 2000" compilation CD. National Reso-phonic Guitars issued a further track, "Broken Mirror" on "Artists in Resonance 2003". Papa George wrote both songs.

Papa George will be concentrating on open G & D tunings for both finger-picking & slide playing.
